- Quad-Ring, also called as X-Ring in Europe, is composed of 4 lobes.
- Quad-Ring has lower coefficient of friction and squeeze rates than normal O-Rings do which makes Quad-Rings, great resistance to abrasion.
- It keeps the pressure even by sealing between the overlapping surfaces.
- Quad-Ring has been used by most technicians instead of o-Rings.
- It is used for a back-and-forth motion, rotary motion, and fixation so on.
- The 4 round areas that are sticking out allows it to be also used for high speed rotation.
