The Use Of Price Label Guns
The invention of Price Guns completely changed the way items were price marked. Not only did it reduce the cost and labor involved in the process, but it also increased the efficiency and accuracy of Price Marking. The stickers, a roll of a 1000 or more, are loaded in the gun and the item is tagged with just one press of the trigger. The speed at which the price sticker can be printed and applied allows the retailer to change prices more quickly and often to offer sales or seasonal promotions.
Method
Price Label Guns are used to Generate Price Stickers in the following manner:
The Price Label Gun is opened and the Price Label Roll inserted into the label holder area. Typically about 7” of labels are pulled out from the roll and fed into the drive assembly. Close the gun cover, squeeze the labeler handle to advance the strip of labels. Within a few cycles the labeler will align itself to print in the proper area of the label.
The ink roller is loaded into the designated holder ensured that the ink roller is properly locked in place.
