AG CLUB Star Milky Way Military Hat Army Cap…

Warn your grandfather’s closet: The fedora hat is back in style! More so than probably any fashion accessory, the fedora has gone through a roller coaster fashion cycle; although once the toppers of choice for the upper class and gangsters alike, fedoras fell off the fashion map in the 1960s. In the last 10 years, though, the fedora has experienced a major comeback as women and men of all ages are choosing this distinctive hat to top off their outfits.

What makes a fedora a bold fashion statement? Along with practical uses like providing protection from wind and rain, the fedora also gives its wearer a stylish and mysterious look – or at least that’s what fedora fans Brad Pitt, Sarah Jessica Parker and Johnny Depp seem to think.

What is a Fedora Hat?
A fedora is a hat that is pinched in the front on both sides so a crease forms down the crown. The brim is wide and pliable; indeed one of the qualities that initially made the fedora popular was that it could be rolled up when not in use.

Although fedoras are traditionally made of soft felt, you can now find them in many materials, including straw, wool, velvet, suede and twill. The traditional black fedora hat is still a popular choice, but a range of colors and patterns is also available.
