Then there is make-up. The South Koreans are not only leaders in skincare technology; they have introduced the Western world to innovations in make-up too. One of the most popular products to come out of South Korea is the cushion compact.
A cushion compact is a foundation, BB or CC cream absorbed in a sponge. By pressing the applicator onto the sponge, the cream spreads evenly out of the pores of the sponge – no spills, sticky fingers or separating liquid. The result is natural, buildable coverage and convenient re-application.
Cushion compacts originate from Korea, and provide lightweight, sheer coverage. Their packaging is a bit bulkier compared to that of an average compact, as they create an airtight seal to keep the cushion and product fresh inside. Inside the compact you will find your applicator, which is a circular antibacterial sponge, as well as a sponge soaked in foundation, BB, or CC cream.
Having combination skin offers you a wider range to choose from, because you can tolerate cushion compacts for both dry and oily skin. Start by applying on your jawline and cheeks, then build up. Then, gently apply under your eyes, but take care not to apply too much as it may crease. Once finished, add the final touch by setting with powder.
